Buddhist Churches of America
The Buddhist Churches of America (BCA) is an incorporated religious organization of American Shin Buddhist affiliated with the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha denomination within the Continental United States. BCA is headquartered in San Francisco, California. Oregon Buddhist Temple is an affiliate of BCA.

Jodo Shinshu Center Correspondence Course
The Hongwanji Office at the Jodoshinshu Center offers a 2-year computer-based correspondence course, allowing students to gain basic knowledge of Jodo Shinshu and Buddhism in general. Students will download text materials, submit assignments and receive feedback from instructors. Students will deepen their understanding through correspondence with instructors as well as benefit from reference materials such as video lectures, Dharma Talks and sutra chanting.
Center for Buddhist Education
The Center for Buddhist Education, established by BCA in 2005, is a dynamic learning environment created to provide educational resources for all. Working with a vast network of other institutions and affiliates, CBE aims to promote continuing education and participation in Jodo Shinshu Buddhist practices and cultural/life enrichment through a variety of interactive workshops, training sessions, public forums, and community events.
